Bowden Provides A Strategic Capital Raising Solution to ANB Investments

ANB Investments (Pty) Ltd (“ANB”) is a distinguished, top tier integrated South African born company that specializes in cultivating, producing, and exporting easy peeler citrus and subtropical fruits to more than 45 countries around the world and employs over 2,200 people rising to 6,000 people over the height of the citrus season.
To strategically build in climate resilience by tackling the increasing risk of hailstorms and other severe weather occurrences that have significantly impacted harvests – ANB has taken the decision to invest in state-of-the-art netting that is designed to protect crops from hail, heat, wind, and intense sunlight.
Bowden successfully facilitated the ANB Capital Raise Programme with Norfund, a leading Norwegian Sovereign Investment Fund, that infused the required equity capital.
We played a key role in securing funds for ANB’s capital expenditure program. Our contribution ranged from origination to execution, enabling ANB to seamlessly continue with their envisaged capex program. Bowden takes pride in our role, enabling ANB to enhance and focus on its operational capacity and contribute to the agricultural value chain’s development in Southern Africa.
