Bowden was engaged to help a top tier South African company that specializes in cultivating, producing, and exporting easy peeler citrus and subtropical fruits with a Strategic Capital Raising Programme.
Objective: To raise capital for state-of-the-art netting that is designed to protect crops from hail, heat, wind, and intense sunlight.
Outcome: Bowden successfully facilitated the Capital Raise Programme with Norfund, a leading Norwegian Sovereign Investment Fund, that infused the required equity capital needed.

Future plans: With a robust strategic partnership in place, the client is now poised to focus on exporting easy peeler citrus and subtropical fruits to more than 45 countries around the world and employs over 2,200 people rising to 6,000 people over the height of the citrus season.
